Thoughts, Puppeteers and most importantly; Christian Bale

I am tired. Almost dead at the keyboard. Yet, the same as every night, i know that once i am in bed, trying to sleep, an eternity will pass before i actually do any 'sleeping'. Now, it's not the tiredness the next day that bothers me, that is usually tolerable, it's the fact that i have to fill that endless time, awake, thinking. It's quite surprising how shit my thoughts can be, especially when I am meant to have control over them, they are afterall my thoughts, right?
If my mind is a puppet, kill the puppeteer. He's an asshole.
My mind is an expert at self doubt. If my blogger stereotypes are accurate, you expected that. Yes, i don't have money/a job ('get one you lazy prick!' you say), expectations placed upon my schooling is quite stressful ('yeah, nobody else is stressed about school at this time of year'), I have no idea what my direction in life is ('somebody get this 18 year old a compass') and finally, my love life is the Sahara Desert. And no, I'm not using the Sahara as a metaphor my ladies situation being 'Oasis filled and extremely hot'. I'm using it as in, really, really dry and unpopulated. Why not just use a cold desert, like Antarctica, as a metaphor to avoid confusion you ask? Well, due to recent global warming activity it is very possible that any Antarctica referenced jokes/puns/metaphors will become irrelevant by 2050. It's quite scary Global Warming, really. Pretty soon the damage we've done to the environment, due to over-production of greenhouse gasses, will become irreversable. I don't like the sound of that Mr. Lovelock, no sirree, you make Al Gore sound like a backward-thinking oil tycoon. If only America had've voted Al Gore in as president when they had the chance, we'd have an 8 year head start on this motherfucker. Now we have to wait until January to get rid of this Bush fella, here's BARRACKING for OBAMA (pun count: 1). Although in some ways i'll be sad to see him go, Letterman just won't be the same ever again. Seriously, i cannot think of one non-Bush joke that i have laughed at on that show. Maybe the top 10 list. But only when i understand the pop-culture references it contains. The OJ simpson one was good, from memory. Also the one about American Airlines was also quite humorous, given it was on only a few days after i had been on an American Airlines flight and it was so true! I remember that flight quite clearly, or maybe i only slightly remember it and have filled in the gaps with Letterman's jokes. It's funny how memory works like that, usually a memory is what you think you saw. Of course, i know this because i study VCE Psychology and because i've seen Momento. Probably one of my favourite movies of all time, if you haven't seen it, i strongly suggest you do. Short-term memory loss + Telling a story going back to front but also forwards at the same time... brilliant. The movie's one downside is, despite how good Guy Pierce is, the lack of Christian Bale. Which brings me to EzyDVD. If you are taking Pre-Orders for a movie, say, American Psycho, how much had to go wrong for the shipping date to be delayed from the 22nd of September until the 5th of October. I would cancel my order if i hadn't already told every human being i know about the impending arrival of three of the Bale's finest works.

4 am seems as good a place as any to finish up.

By the way, tonight i'll try think of some decent aesthetics to decorate this place up. Excersise patience.

Sleep tight.

i'm so good at manipulation that I have got several people to create a blog.
Often, however, they only use it for a month and never touch it again
but it is an achievement I think.
