I bought a new Desk today. When my computer gets fixed, i will have the pleasure of following IKEA's instructions to put the desk together and my room will be almost complete. I will have all the tools and distractions to lock myself away from civilisation.
Now all i need is a giant poster of Rita Hayworth.
The final episode of Dexter today (yesterday at time of posting) was awesome. It could have been sex in tele-visual form if some prick hadn't told me the surprise twist 8 weeks ago. You know who you are.
Which brings me to my strange event for the day.
Today, upon searching the family computer for music files, i discovered that someone in my family has been hiding their love for Eminem from me. I discovered 3 Eminem albums stored away in the backwaters of the computer hard-drive, 'Encore' being one, the other 2 albums were named 'Best of Eminem 1' and 'Best of Eminem 2'. After a quick google search, these albums do not exist, leaving me slightly disturbed. This raises some interesting questions.
Who put them there?
The only two people who could possibly have put them on the computer
a) My Mum
b) Me
The answer is disconcerting to say the least.
Now, I'm pretty certain my mum doesn't listen to a rapper that raps about how much he hates his own mother... which scares me because that sounds exactly like the type of music i would listen to. However, i have never bought 'Encore' (please do not mention the other two albums i found, it's creeping me out) nor do i remember ever putting it on our computer. I do admit to owning 'The Eminem Show', it having been a favourite album of mine back in the day, but that was long before we'd even purchased this computer.
What i am trying to say i guess is, all the signs point to it being ME that put those Eminem Albums on the computer, but i don't remember doing it.
Is any of this interesting? Probably not to you. But this isn't your blog now is it?
